Delete your VocNova account
Everything VocNova holds about you can be destroyed, by you, at any time. There is no grace period and nothing is kept behind.
In the app, which is the fastest way
Open VocNova, go to Account, then Settings, then Delete account. It asks you to type the email address on the account — not to slow you down, but because this cannot be undone and a mis-tap should not be able to do it.
It happens immediately. There is no waiting period, no deactivated state, and no copy kept for later.
If you no longer have the app
Write to privacy@vocnova.com from the address on the account. Say that you want the account deleted. We will confirm the request, delete it within 30 days, and write back when it is done — in practice within a few working days.
If you cannot write from that address, tell us which address the account uses and how to reach you, and we will ask you something only the account holder would know before deleting anything.
What is deleted
Your account and the address it uses. Every word, folder and review in your collection. Every diary entry, including the locked ones. The key your phone uses to read its own archive. Every session on every device. Any connected chat account and the stored credential for it. Any messages still held for a device that has not collected them. Fault reports recorded against your account.
It is one statement against the database and everything else follows it, so there is no list of tables somebody can forget to add one to.
What is not deleted, and why
Nothing of yours. Server logs record that a request happened — a time, a path, an account identifier — and they are kept for a short period for security and reliability. They do not contain your words, your messages or your diary.
Text sent to a language model to build a card is not stored by us at any point. What the provider retains is described in their own terms, and it is named in our privacy policy.
Deleting some of it rather than all
You do not have to delete the account to remove things. A word, a folder or a diary entry can be deleted on its own. A connected chat account can be disconnected, which destroys the stored credential. Notification reading can be switched off, or narrowed to fewer apps, at any time.
